Boy does time fly

Where does the time go. Seems like I just posted and now it's almost the end of September, the air is cool and the smell of fall is in the air. It's my favorite time of year, I love the colors, smell and taste at this time of year. 
But nows the time my work load picks up for Christmas and I'm ready. 
Over the weekend I got to go on a quilt retreat with the Nimble thimbles quilt group that was fun got 5 quilt tops pieced how cool is that no to quilt them. I'll take some pics and post them later. 
No back to work so I don't get behind wait I think I already am a little beind.

So it seem like forever but this summer has been busy, busy ,busy for me two wedding that means two double wedding ring quilts only got a picture of my nephews with his new bride she is a sweetheart too. Lots
of other quilts got done too this summer.
Now time to get in gear for Christmas rush never get to manys fall quilts but what I make, need to post pics of them sometime.
Lots to get done this week leaving for a quilt retreat Thursday can't wait not that I have time to go, but this is once a year and kinda sets the mood to quilt when I get home.
I'll try to post some pic when I'm back.

Well everyone meet Betsy she my quilting partner and we get along really well most of the time.
I had to show her picture because she makes my quilting look wonderful.
A friend of mine showed me how to load a pic too so I also had to give it a try. She is an amazing quilter and mom to twins that are sooo darn cute. You can check out her blog at Sew it's midnight mama very good blog and she does stuff for moda too.

And these are my special little people my Granddaughters.

When they come everything stops and they get all our attention.

Being a grammy is the best thing in the world I love it and them very much.

This is my sweet husband with Frankie Joy last Christmas.

He's the big guy who made Betsy possible.

He's my High School sweet heart and we've been married 30 years in August,

sure does seem that long he's an amazing guy and man does he love his grandchildren.

I'll post newer pic when I take some and I'll get some pic of my quilts up too now I think I know what I'm doing.

Another busy day

This week has went by so fast. The weekend almost here and I don't feel like I've gotten anything done as far as quilting. Had my granddaughters today so quilting is always put on hold when they come Grammy is such a push over for her baby girls.
With a new grandbaby coming in February I had to find the just right pattern, had to be farm theme. Found the perfect pattern.

I have 2 custom quilts to get done this week I hope.
Have quilt group tonight but I thinnk I need to stay home we'll see.

Thought my niece would let me know about her quilt but she hasn't guess it's no big deal!!

Well need to cook super and get some quilting done . Talk later happy quilting out there.

weekend

Well the weekend was nice here in Ohio a little hot but nice. My niece was married on Saturday it was a lovely outdoor wedding but a little warm in the sun. I made her a Double Wedding Ring Quilt for her big day and not thinking I have no pic's of it how smart was that it was lovely and the quilting was awesome if I must say so my self.
I'll ask her rof some pics of it.

Well off to work or play more quilts to quilt that my thing. I also have to make another double wedding ring for her brother he gets married the first part of September. No rest for the wicked as my Dad always said.

Where does time go

Where has time gone it seems like I just posted about the new group and it's been months ago.
Things have been busy here at our home one of the twins had surgery and was in the hospital for two weeks, that was longer than expected so Granny (me) kept the babies 14 months and 3 months what fun but alot of work.
Was behind on my quilting but now getting caught up.
This saturday is a family wedding my niece can't believe she's that old.

The 4th was a great day family parties and seeing the kids. I forgot my oldest told us on Fathers day he's gonna be a Daddy I can't wait one more little one to spoil. This Granny thing is pretty cool. I think they will have a boy, we need a little guy we've got 4 little girls.

Well my machine is calling me, sometime I'll post pics when I figure that out.

It's been a while

Well it's been a while since I last posted and boy have things changed. I have a new group of quilters I'm quilting with they are beginners so it's fun to see their excitement when working on a new project.
I also have new grand baby who's 1 and half months old she's a cutie and she's grandma's girl just like Frankie who is now 14 months old and into everything but thats ok with grammy.
Quilting is going really good I'll post pic when I figure that out.

New Year

Well, I've been slacking on this blog page thought I'd be better at writting, but life is busy. It's a new year and I hope to visit more and blog more.
I have about 6 quilts that need quilted and am working on organizing my quilting room that may not happen I get side tracked to easy.
Hope to show pics soon of things I'm working on for my self and others.
